Larxene is a violent woman. She is openly a sadist who, in the manga, is shown to have a certain fascination for the Marquis de Sade, the man for whom "Sadism" is named. She's a mean-spirited, cruel thing with an active love for electrocuting people.
This doesn't mean that she electrocutes random strangers, but she takes personal pleasure in making people uncomfortable, and if given enough excuse to 'defend herself' she will happily hurt people without so much as batting an eyelash.
Besides the fact that she is a mean-spirited witch with a vicious streak the size of Toledo, there is a lot of Memory Alteration and manipulation in her past, 99% of which happens to others via her former associate Namine. She has an almost blase attitude towards personhood, memory or self identity that can be uncomfortable.
